The 3 best places to launch your paddle board

Hey guys this is Matt from Paradise! I had a lot of people ask where do I launch off my paddle board and wanted to write this blog. Paddle boarding is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise, but it can be tough to know where to start. If you're looking for the best places to launch your paddle board this summer, look no further! Here are three great options.

1. The Beach is our favorite because it’s one of the most obvious places to launch a paddle board from the beach. If you live near the coast, this is a great option for getting out on the water. Just make sure to check the tide forecasts in advance so you don't get caught in a rip current! Make sure you are careful in the water with other surfers because it’s easy to get in the way if you haven’t paddle surfed before. We always recommend you start off in the flat water bays and then work your way out to the ocean! 

2. A Local Lake If you're not near the ocean, don't worry - you can still enjoy paddle boarding on a local lake. If your near the ocean then the bay is the BOMB! This is a great option if you want to avoid crowds and enjoy a more peaceful paddling experience. Just be sure to check for any hazards in the water before you launch.

3. River Paddle boarding on a river can be a great way to explore your local area in a new way. Just be sure to pick a section of river that isn't too deep or fast-moving. and as always, be sure to check for any hazards before you launch!
